Many know that mounting, matting and framing artwork is an “art” all of its own.  When your work is entered into juried competitions, such as the fair, these steps can be critical in the judge’s eye and having it done by a professional means your chance of attracting a positive review will increase.

What you need to know about entering the Erie County Fair Fine Arts Competitions

All painting entries for the Fine Arts Exhibit must be well framed and wired for hanging. Paintings, drawings and pastels must have mats and be protect by glass, however oil and acrylic paintings should not be matted or be behind glass. • Gallery canvas frame – though not required, a frame can enhance the aesthetic appeal to a painting
• Your painting will be ready to hang on any wall.

We offer quick turn-around times on all framing projects, usually within a week, but if you let us know when you need the project completed we make every effort to accommodate you and we’ll always notify you when the project is finished and can be picked up at the store.
